Fraud warning

Finorix Pro takes every report and suspicion of fraudulent activity seriously. From time to time we find companies or individuals using our name, or names that look like ours, without our permission. This can cause confusion and spread false information about our company and its services.

We do not cold-call to sell investments and we never ask for your password, one-time code, API secret or remote access to your device.

Why we publish this notice

Impersonation is common in online finance, and people in Singapore are frequently targeted. We publish this notice so that you know how to recognise the real Finorix Pro, so that you can stop and check before you share any details, and so that the people responsible for fraudulent use of our name can be reported quickly.

We are aware of cases in which our name and personal data have been misused for fraudulent purposes, over which we have no influence or control. While we sincerely regret the financial losses of anyone affected by such cases, we are not responsible for fraudulent transactions carried out in our name by others.

Clone companies

If you suspect you are dealing with a company that is cloning our brand, name or logo, we recommend that you do not share personal information with it and that you notify us immediately by email at [email protected].

We constantly work on identifying clone companies, but some may stay unidentified for a period of time. Clients should always verify the legitimacy of companies they interact with online before sharing personal data or beginning any business relationship.

Signs of impersonation

One of these alone is reason enough to stop. Several together are almost certainly a scam.

Wrong address

The web address differs by a letter, a hyphen or an unusual ending from the one you use. Always type the address yourself or use a saved bookmark.

Pressure

Messages that demand an immediate deposit, promise a limited-time guaranteed return or warn that your account will be closed within hours are tactics, not service notices.

Requests for secrets

Anyone who asks for a password, a code from your phone, a seed phrase or screen sharing is not working for us.

Payments to individuals

We never ask you to transfer money to a personal bank account, a PayNow number belonging to a person or a private crypto wallet.

What to do if you are contacted

  1. Do not click links, open attachments or return calls from the message.
  2. Do not send money or information. If you already have, contact your bank at once and ask whether the payment can be stopped.
  3. Forward the message, with full headers if you can, to [email protected].
  4. Report scams to the Singapore Police Force through its online reporting channels and the ScamShield service, and change any passwords you may have shared.

How to confirm it is really us

  • Our emails come only from [email protected] and carry your personal security code if you have set one.
  • The registered address and support hours match those on our contact page and about page.
  • You can end any call and ring your manager back through the main contact details on this site.
